How do I tell if my baby is overheating?

We talk about overheating when your baby’s body temperature rises above 38°C. Baby’s often can’t regulate their own temperature yet. In the beginning, your baby’s body temperature is mainly being controlled by the head. Always make sure your baby isn’t too hot or too cold by checking the neck. Every baby is different, so it is important to keep track of your baby’s heat regulation. The perfect temperature for your baby’s bedroom ranges from 16°C to 20°C with 18°C being the perfect temperature. Also make sure to check the TOG-value of your baby’s clothes. Read more about TOG values here.
