This sleeping bag gives your baby a comforting sense of security thanks to the safe, snug fit around the neck and arms, while still providing plenty of room to move and sleep comfortably. Whether you are looking for a summer, winter, or mid-season layer, you will always find the perfect sleeping bag for your baby in our collection.
All our baby sleeping bags are, soft on the skin, and durable. We achieve this through a unique double knit structure. A stretch sleeping bag baby only truly reaches premium quality when its stretch is carefully controlled. Our double knit fabric ensures elasticity without deformation, less wear and tear, and a significantly longer lifespan. Additionally, a baby sleeping bag offers multiple practical benefits, such as hassle free diaper changes and convenient on-the-go use.
To ensure your child can sleep comfortably through the night whenever needed, all our sleeping bags feature a TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) rating.
You can use our baby sleeping bag right from birth (minimum weight of 3.2 kg / 7 lbs). Thanks to the tailored fit around the neck and arms, your baby won't slip down into the sleeping bag, ensuring a safe day and night's rest. Is your baby restless? Then a sleeping bag baby is highly recommended. It helps your baby regulate their body temperature and prevents them from waking up due to the cold or their own sudden arm movements (the startle reflex).
Never buy a baby sleeping bag to "grow into"; a neck opening that is too large is unsafe. Measure your little one from the shoulders to the feet and add 10 cm to ensure enough legroom. Use the table below to determine the correct size:
Baby's Age Baby's Length Lodger Baby Sleeping Bag Size
0 – 4 months 50 – 62 cm Size 50/62 (Newborn)
4 – 12 months 68 – 80 cm Size 68/80
1 – 3 years 86 – 98 cm Size 86/98 (Toddler)
The TOG rating indicates how warm the fabric is. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the sleeping bag.
Tip: Read more about TOG ratings and warmth here.
Summer sleeping bag: TOG of 0.3 to 0.5 (Room temperature above 24°C)
Spring & Autumn sleeping bag: TOG of 2.4 (Room temperature between 16–20°C)
Winter sleeping bag: TOG of 3.3 (Room temperature below 16°C / cold nights under 16°C)
No, the insulation value of the fabric itself remains exactly the same. However, your baby will lose a bit more heat through their bare arms, making the baby sleeping bag feel slightly cooler overall. This is an ideal way to regulate your baby's temperature without having to switch to a different sleeping bag. View more information about TOG-values here.
In a cold room, we recommend dressing your baby in long sleeved pajamas or a long sleeved bodysuit underneath a sleeping bag with sleeves. Is the room a bit warmer? A short-sleeved bodysuit is often perfectly fine.
Always check your baby's neck: if it feels clammy, your little one is dressed too warmly.
